		<description>I know where you are coming from, and I wouldn&#039;t consider yourself &quot;old fashioned!&quot; I too, grew up in a small town, and for us, technology wasn&#039;t even really a desire until I grew up and started to attend highschool. Compared to now- I look at my little brothers&#039; generation who are addicted, and trust me, I mean addicted to technology. Oh, what they will miss out on! 
I am proud to say that until this fall, I was anti facebook, myspace, etc. Stay away as long as you can!</description>

Computers, prior to the internet  although helpful in automating certain tasks really didn&#039;t have a great benefit as has occurred since the inception of connectivity. My hopes is that you see its value for learning for everyone. Not just in schools but for life.   

At the same time, I encourage you to keep a healthy skepticism.</description>
